How many IPsec tunnels does VNS3 support? Is there any limitation?

Follow

VNS3 is priced based on virtual network complexity.  One of the pricing parameters is how many remote endpoints/tunnel SAs you connect via IPsec VPN.  Out side of license restrictions based on your subscription,  there is no hard limit.  The instance or VM size and the resulting CPU, memory and network throughput may limit the number depending on your use-case.

The thing to remember about VNS3 at scale is the VNS3 controllers can be configured in a true n-mesh.  This means you can distribute your network functions out to many instances or VMs to share load, provide multiple points of presence (POP) and mitigate risk.

Cohesive has customers running over a hundred endpoints with many hundreds of tunnels. Our licenses are based on estimated network size, if you need more endpoints, tunnels or clientpacks we do offer custom pricing.

See our pricing page for tunnel sizes per license. If your need to upgrade your tunnels, we can update your license for more clientpacks, endpoints, tunnels, etc. Email sales@cohesive.net or support@cohesive.net if you'd like to request tunnels.

It's easy to upgrade. Simply request new IPsec tunnels, endpoints, or clientpacks you need. Cohesive Networks will send you an upgrade license to add to your VNS3 Controller. Watch the video: https://youtu.be/DmCXgGUSvRM
